Gather some friends and join The Friends of Venilale on their annual walk to raise funds for their East Timor Education Fund which supports scholarships for rural students in Timor Leste.
Take in the spectacular views of the Delatite Valley from Glenroy Lane and along the ridgeline to Mansfield Botanic Park - a moderate grade walk of approximately 18 kilometres. Shorter options of 10 kilometre or 8 kilometre are available.
There will be a free Mansfield Rotary barbeque at the finish at 12.30 - 2.30pm. Carry snacks and water, no dogs. Please shut gates.
This walk is the only opportunity for the public to hike this farmland and experience the beauty of spring in the hinterland paddocks of Mansfield. Special thanks to the landholders along the ridgeline for their support.
