FRIDAY LIVE MUSIC
The main event takes place on Saturday from 10am - 4pm in the main street of Jamieson. Stretching from the Jamieson Memorial Hall down to the Jamieson River along Perkins Street. The day is filled with live music, arts and crafts, workshops, old-world trades, delicious food, fun community games, kids activities, car show n shine, and heaps more.

SATURDAY 18TH APRIL - FESTIVAL DAY

The day is filled with live music, arts and crafts, workshops, old-world trades, delicious food, fun community games, kids activities, car show n shine, and heaps more.

FOOD & DRINK
Enjoy a diverse array of flavors from the Mansfield region and beyond, with something to satisfy every palate. Whether you’re craving savory or sweet, spicy Indian dishes, or slow-cooked meats, there’s a dish for everyone to savour.
There is going to be smoked meat, a CFA sausage sizzle, Indian dishes, dumplings, pizza, twisted potatos, donuts, ice cream, dutch pankcakes, fairy floss, and snow cones.
In addition you can eat at the Jamieson General Store, Tipsy Trout Cafe and the Courthouse Hotel, all are in the festival precinct, offering great food, coffee and drinks.
LIVE MUSIC
The festival showcases a diverse array of talent, from Jamieson locals to national acts. Enjoy live performances across four stages, plus new in 2026, two dedicated busking locations.
From a classical wind trio to soulful solo artists, dynamic duets and high-energy rock bands, there’s something for every musical taste.
The line-up includes Mark Schneider, Matthew Roberts, Hammer & Tongs, Jessica & Charlie Bolwell, Gone Westerly, 2 Easy Duo, Fleabag & Floorboard, Minnie, Riley, Sub Riot, Rossa, Kathleen Harris, Winded, MAD Choir and Steiner School Choir, with The Pans of Fire and local line dancers performing in the heart of the main street. A detailed festival program will be announced soon.

KIDS ACTIVITIES
The Festival is a celebration for all ages, with plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained. While parents browse the market stalls and enjoy the live music, there are lots of ways for kids to join in the fun.
Head to the Kids Zone at the tennis courts, supported by the Mansfield First Scouts. You’ll find a fun games, kids gold panning, archery, lawn games like giant Jenga, Roo Poo Toss, and more, guaranteed to keep young festival-goers smiling.
Throughout the market area, children can enjoy face painting, lollies and ice cream. At the Information Booth, kids can pick up a scavenger hunt and explore the festival while spotting special items along the way.
And of course, there’s live music to dance to, plus community games that bring the whole family together.
ARTISAN MARKET
Discover a vibrant artisan market at the Jamieson Autumn Festival, bursting with creativity, colour and community spirit.
The 2026 market transforms the main street into a celebration of regional makers and producers. Browse handcrafted jewellery, bespoke accessories, homewares, original artworks and one-of-a-kind pieces, each showcasing the skill and passion of local artisans.
Indulge in gourmet local produce, sweet treats and festival fare as you soak up the live music and lively autumn atmosphere.
Don’t miss the arts and gardens at St Peter’s Anglican Church, open especially for the festival, a peaceful and inspiring addition to your day in Jamieson.
COMMUNITY GAMES
The Jamieson Autumn Festival community run games are a much loved part of the day, bringing plenty of laughter and friendly competition.
Cow Poo Lotto: Choose a square in the paddock and wait to see where the cow makes the winning move. Wherever it lands decides the lucky winner.
Duck Race: Pick a numbered rubber duck and watch the race as hundreds of ducks float their way down the Jamieson River to the finish line.
Gold Nugget Throw: Test your aim by tossing a “gold nugget” as far as you can. The furthest throw wins the prize.
Fun to watch and even more fun to take part in, these quirky games are all part of the relaxed and playful festival atmosphere.
OLD-WORLD TRADES DEMONSTRATIONS
AND WORKSHOPS
Step back in time and experience traditional skills that once shaped life in country towns. Watch skilled craftspeople demonstrate old world trades such as blacksmithing, and learn about the practical skills that were once essential in the High Country.
There are two Saturday workshops in Tetrapak printing, where Mansfield artists Felicity Hayward and Cecile Berger will guide you in turning recycled cartons into eco-friendly artwork.
It’s a wonderful way to experience heritage, craftsmanship, and creativity.
SATURDAY NIGH LIVE MUSIC
Keep the festival vibe going on Saturday night with live music across Jamieson. Relax into the evening with country hospitality, great music and a cold drink.
Head to the Jamieson Brewery & Grill for music from Hannah April, a singer-songwriter performing a mix of original songs and well-loved covers.
Over at the Courthouse Hotel, Rossa returns to the stage. The Melbourne-based independent artist and multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, originally from Ireland, brings his distinctive sound back to Jamieson for the evening.
SUNDAY 19TH APRIL - UNWIND
CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
End your festival weekend by slowing down and exploring your creative side. Sunday workshops are located at the Jamieson Memorial Hall, start at 10am. Workshops include acrylic painting, mosaics, ceramics, and book art, each offering a hands-on way to make a unique keepsake while enjoying a relaxed, creative atmosphere.
All workshops are for participants 18+ only.
Thanks to SIAG funding, we’ve been able to subsidise the normal costs of these workshops, making them accessible to everyone in our community.
GUIDED SIGNIFICANT TREE WALK
Slow down and explore Jamieson’s natural beauty on the FREE Significant Tree Walk. Guided by local experts, this stroll highlights over 30 trees of historical and botanical significance, many dating back to the 1800s. Discover Giant Sequoias, Elms, and a historic Magnolia Grandiflora while enjoying the rich colours of autumn and learning the stories behind these remarkable trees.
SUNDAY LIVE MUSIC
Settle in for a relaxed Sunday afternoon with live music from the Broken River Blues Band, playing from the garden rotunda at The Tipsy Trout Café.
From 12pm, enjoy tapas-style food, great music and the laid-back atmosphere of Jamieson’s beautiful garden setting.
The perfect way to unwind and bring the festival weekend to a close.
