Craig’s Hut Discovery Hike

Mount Stirling Road Telephone Box Junction Mount Stirling Victoria

Craig's Hut is one of Victoria's most iconic places and a must to see for anyone visiting the Victorian High Country.

The team will drive you through a beautiful Alpine Ash forest to the start of the hiking track. The hiking track is well maintained. It winds up towards Craig’s Hut through a forest of towering trees that gradually change to Snow Gums. Regular stops along the way provide an opportunity to take in your surroundings and to enjoy the views.

Upon reaching Craig’s Hut you will have free time to explore this wonderful icon and to snap a few memorable pics. Grab a cup of coffee, tea or juice and a yummy pastry, sit back, relax and soak up the views.

About an hour later, you will retrace your steps back down the track where the base camp manager will be waiting to transport you back to Telephone Box Junction via Howqua Gap, completing the full Circuit Road circle. Along the way you will enjoy more breathtaking views of the Victorian High Country.

This hike is suitable for families with children age six and above. Child safety seats (please bring your own if your child requires one).
